DW-019 · Full wrap flap covering the entire forefoot
Full-Wrap Extra Wide Trainer
The widest opening we make. The whole forefoot is a flap that folds right down, so the shoe can be put on around a dressing, a bandage or a foot that will not bend — then closed to whatever width the foot is that day.
One extra-wide adjustable fitting · UK / EU / US conversion · Measure your feet at home
Free 60-day exchanges · Replacement sent before the first pair comes back
Choose this style if
- Oedema, lymphoedema and daily fluctuation in foot volume
- Dressings, bandaging and post-operative wear
- Carers and anyone dressing someone else's feet
- One extra-wide fitting, set by the strap. No EE or 6E code to guess between. You pick the size, then set the width on your own foot.
- Removable gel and EVA insole. Lifts out whole — blue gel over 5 mm and 3 mm EVA — so a custom orthotic drops straight in.
- Seam-free forefoot lining. Nothing stitched across a bunion joint, a hammer toe or skin that has lost sensation.
- Hook-and-loop closure throughout. No laces. Openable seated, one-handed, or by someone else.
- Four styles, four widths of opening. From a twin-strap shoe that opens 34 mm to a full flap that opens 72 mm.
- Unisex UK 3–12, EU 36–46. Whole sizes, one price across the whole range at £49.99.
Fit and construction
Closure. Full wrap flap covering the entire forefoot. Upper. Perforated mesh with the deepest toe box in the range. Widest opening. Deepest toe box. Only style offered in Sand.
The opening measures roughly 72 mm at its widest with the strap fully released, which is what decides whether the shoe will go on at all on a bad day. The insole is a removable stack: a gel top layer over 5 mm and 3 mm EVA. Lift out as many layers as a custom orthotic needs.
Delivery and exchanges
Free UK delivery on every order, Royal Mail Tracked 48, typically 3–4 working days. Next working day £4.95, Saturday £6.95. Sixty days to exchange or return, free both ways. Wrong size, or the shoe will not open wide enough? We post the replacement first.
What this shoe is not
It is not a prescription device, a bespoke orthopaedic shoe or a treatment for any condition. It is a well-made adjustable shoe with the depth, width and opening that people with these conditions keep telling us they cannot find on the high street. If you are under a podiatrist, take it to your next appointment.
The rest of the range
Three other styles, three other widths of opening
Same insole, same seam-free lining, same £49.99. The only thing that changes is how far the shoe opens and how much room there is over the toes.
