  • Three width fittings on every size. EE wide, EEEE extra wide and 6E ultra wide — UK 3 to 13, no half sizes to guess between.
  • Seam-free interior. Nothing inside the shoe to rub a bunion, a hammer toe or skin that has lost sensation.
  • 8 mm removable insole. Take it out and a custom orthotic drops straight in without stealing depth from your toes.
  • Two adjustable straps, no laces. Open the shoe completely flat, then set the volume to whatever your foot is doing today.
  • Rocker-profile midsole. The sole rolls you through the step so a stiff or painful forefoot bends less.
  • 400 g a shoe at UK 7. Light enough to wear all day, structured enough to hold a foot steady.
Fit and construction

Built on a genuinely wide last rather than a standard last stretched sideways — the extra room is in the forefoot and the toe box depth, which is where feet actually need it. Upper is a warp-knit with a soft brushed backing, no overlays and no stitched seams inside. Two straps rather than one, so you can set forefoot and instep volume separately.

Weight: 400 g per shoe at UK 7. Heel-to-toe drop: 8 mm. Midsole: compression-moulded EVA with a rocker profile. Outsole: rubber pods at heel and forefoot.

Delivery and exchanges

Free UK delivery on every order, Royal Mail Tracked 48, typically 3–4 working days. Next working day £4.95, Saturday £6.95. Sixty days to exchange or return, free both ways. Ordered the wrong width? We post the replacement first.

What this shoe is not

It is not a prescription device, a bespoke orthopaedic shoe or a treatment for any condition. It is a well-made trainer with the depth, width and adjustability that people with these conditions keep telling us they cannot find on the high street. If you are under a podiatrist, take it to your next appointment.

Common questions

Which width fitting should I choose?
If a standard trainer feels tight across the ball of the foot but you can wear it, start at EE. If you have bunions, a spreading forefoot or you wear a custom orthotic, choose EEEE. If your feet swell during the day, you have oedema, or you wear bandaging, choose 6E. The width finder asks three questions and tells you.
Will my orthotic fit inside?
Yes. The 8 mm insole lifts out whole, leaving a flat, deep footbed. Most prescribed devices and off-the-shelf orthotics sit in without lifting your heel out of the collar. Full detail in the orthotics guide.
My feet are different sizes. Can I order two widths?
Order the two you need and email us the order number — we will refund one pair and log a split-size record on your account, so future orders arrive matched. There is no extra charge for a split pair.
Can I wear these if I have diabetes?
They are designed with diabetic feet in mind: no interior seams, a deep toe box and a lining that does not trap heat. They are not a prescription or bespoke medical device. If you are under a podiatry or diabetic foot clinic, take the shoe to your next appointment and check it against their advice.
What if the fit is wrong?
Sixty days to exchange, free both ways. Tell us what went wrong and we send the replacement width or size before the first pair comes back, so you are not left without shoes.
How do I clean them?
Brush off loose dirt, then sponge the knit with warm water and a little non-bio detergent. Air dry away from a radiator. Do not put them in a washing machine — the midsole bond does not enjoy it.
